Theo Ehret was born in Germany and came to the US in 1952. He opened his own photography studio in 1963 and began taking pro boxing and then pro wrestling photos. Eventually, in the early '70s he was asked to take pics of attractive women in bikinis wrestling in an apartment setting. And the rest, at least for our little genre, is history. There is a style and flavor to Ehret's photos that has not been duplicated since. He worked with a great many women, including some of the better known fetish models of the day.
